Removing white edges from a image at ImageMagick
I took the first image to Arbor ImageMagick
Resized it from 203 wide to 200 using scale
Then to Composite. Center Gravity -2x-2 Multiply
Output and Transloaded to my webhost
It did a pretty good job!
Not all the white edges are gone but most of them are

Re: Removing White Edges from A Image PHP Index Viewer.--MOON
I comp'd the original Larger one over the reduced smaller one.
I used -2x-2 because of the way the white edges are on the image.
The white edges start from the NW corner. I think you can get rid of all the white edges if you comp multiply maybe with the one you just did? You would have to be careful not to make the image so dark by comp'n multiply, that it might fade to black? I dunno haven't worked with it enough.
It might be the answer to tubes converting to gif's where a problem
of BIG NASTY white edges are common.
